Throughout our history, we have prioritized risk management in all our investment strategies, with a specific focus on downside protection. Since many clients have different tolerances for risk, we can tailor our approach to meet your needs.
Above all, we are committed to providing exceptional client service that is rooted in our founding values of integrity and trust. We put our clients first.
Roosevelt Investments traces its roots back to 1971, when President Theodore Roosevelt’s cousin, P. James Roosevelt, started the investment firm P. James Roosevelt, Inc., focused on endowments and high-net-worth individuals. P. James Roosevelt’s earliest clients included several members of the Roosevelt family, Youngs Memorial Cemetery, where Teddy Roosevelt is buried, as well as the Theodore Roosevelt Association*
In 1993, the firm changed its name to The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc., and to this day we still embody the founding Roosevelt values of entrepreneurship, honesty, integrity, and leadership.
P. James Roosevelt believed these values were key to building a successful investment advisory firm. Given our years of successfully serving clients, Roosevelt Investments is proof he was right.
Arthur Sheer shared P. James’s vision when Arthur founded Sheer Asset Management in 1990, embodying similar values of family strength, entrepreneurial spirit, and an unwavering commitment to risk management. As Roosevelt and Sheer were pursuing the same goals, their firms merged in 2002.
Roosevelt Investments acquired Ehrlich Meyer Associates, adding a new Managing Director and Portfolio Manager to the Roosevelt team.
Roosevelt Investments acquired Blueprint Financial Planning and Value Architects Asset Management.
The clients and principal of Lombardi Wealth Advisors join Roosevelt Investments. In addition, the firm’s name is changed to The Roosevelt Investment Group, LLC after its acquisition by CI Financial Corp.
Today, Roosevelt Investments continues to manage money for several members of the Roosevelt family and the Theodore Roosevelt Association*, as well as many other individuals, families, and various institutional clients. We also specialize in serving the funeral service profession, with 50 years of experience working with funeral homes, cemeteries, and their owners and operators.
Our firm is headquartered in midtown Manhattan, and we have an operations center in Providence, Rhode Island.
